National Historical Museum (Albanian: Muzeu Historik Komb√ętar) in Tirana, Albania, is the country's largest museum. It was opened on 28 October 1981 and it is 27,000 square meters in size, while 18,000 square meters are available for expositions, divided in 8 pavilions. National Historical Museum includes the following pavilions: Antiquity, Medieval, National Renaissance, Iconography, Culture of Albania, Albanian Resistance of World War II, and Communist regime.
